About Military Engineering Service
MES is the largest organization of the Pak Army engaged in engineering work. As a matter of fact, MES’s headquarters are located in Rawalpindi. As a department, MES is responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining buildings, such as water supply, sewerage, fire suppression, drainage, roads, airfields, bridges, electricity, and stores for the security and prosperity of Pakistan and its military.
Among its functions is providing such services to the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Defense Planning Division. Many civilians and soldiers from the Pakistani armed forces work for the organization.
